More Info on Metropolitan Lofts The Metropolitan is a high-rise loft building located in downtown Atlanta. Walking distance to restaurants and retail. Street or rented parking. Gas stove / range. Authentic features such as exposed ductwork. Larger loft building.
The Metropolitan is a little bit of an older building. The pricing is usually good here, but the HOA fees are out of control, so that really affects people when they go to get qualified for these units. Parking is another issue here. Not all of the units have parking, so those owners need to find parking on the street or rent from a nearby parking lot. More of a "soft loft" feel. Some units updated and some units have great views of downtown. HOA fees are sky high at $400 per month for a 130K loft. Taxes are around$1100 per year for the same loft. Overall, a fair rating from me for The Metropolitan.
